CAL'S COLORING CORNER

Artist Cal Grondahl

Cal

Cal Grondahl is a household name around Northern Utah. He is well known for his editorial cartoons in the “Standard Examiner.” Cal left the Standard Examiner in December of 2013 and became a volunteer at the Hill Aerospace Museum shortly thereafter. Upon his arrival he began sketching aircraft in the museum collection.

Cal grew up not far from an Air Force Base in Grand Forks, North Dakota. That is where he developed his love for flight and flying. The aircraft and artifacts at the Hill Aerospace Museum are special to Cal because of that passion he has maintained throughout his life.
