Hill Aerospace Museum’s STEAM Summer Passport Program will take place from June 14th through August 5th this year! Join us at the museum Wednesday through Saturday for science and history lessons with fun experiments, demonstrations, or hands on activities! After students have participated in five of the eight classes, they may report to museum staff to receive a special pin and graduation certificate. Registration is not required.
All programming is FREE. Limited seating available. First come, first served.

Weber County RAMP is a part of the STEAM Summer Passport program.
Observe how electrical energy is transferred from place to place with exciting demonstrations of static and current electricity! The lesson also discusses different types of electrical circuits and uses student participation to carry out experiments.
Investigate the air masses that cause changes in the weather patterns and what we monitor at Hill Air Force Base for our pilots! Programming includes information on the transfer of air from high to low pressure, cloud formations, and varying weather phenomena.
Come learn about the art that pilots and crews put on their planes and its important role in local history. Each student will create their own nose art to share with the class! If you were an airman, what would you want your artwork to say about you?
Want to know how chemistry impacts airplane? Join us in exploring the nature of chemical reactions as we uncover the materials that make up our world, then combine substances to create something new! Each student takes home a piece of the experiment for their participation!
The laws of motion are part of everything we do! Come watch engaging demonstrations about how forces are applied to objects and result in all kinds of different motions.
Learn about some of the practical applications of physics as we investigate the forces of flight and determine the effect of balanced and unbalanced forces. Each student will create a flying model to test out.
Come learn about the history and design of rockets and missiles at Hill Air Force Base, then build your own to test and launch in front of the museum.
Join us in a special, guided exploration through the museum galleries as we uncover the untold stories from World War II, Vietnam, and the mission of the Hill Air Force Base in our local community!
