Elizabeth “Lizzie” Najim is the Operations Manager at the Hill Aerospace Museum. Born and bred a Jayhawk in Wichita, Kansas, Lizzie attended the University of Kansas and graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor’s in Art History. In 2020, Lizzie graduated from the University of Utah with her Master’s in U.S. History focusing on U.S. air and atomic warfare from World War II to early Cold War, as well as Public History. In 2019, she interned at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. with the curatorial department, and with the Hill Aerospace Museum shortly after in 2020. Lizzie served as the Director of the Syracuse Regional Museum from 2020–2023. She began her government career at the Hill Aerospace Museum in June 2023. She has two favorite airplanes in the Museum’s collection—the SR-71C Blackbird (because it’s cool) and the C-54 Skymaster due to its involvement in the Berlin Airlift.
