Special access to aircraft or collections may be granted for research, educational purposes, or to support U.S. Air Force mission requirements. Special access typically includes improved or close-up visual access or superficial physical contact. Restrictions are as follows:
Nothing can be added, installed, or removed from an aircraft or artifact. Aircraft cannot be modified in any way.
Aircraft or artifacts cannot be moved or altered to accommodate events or other activities.
Access cannot be granted for commercial or promotional purposes. Access requests for video productions must first be approved by the Hill Aerospace Museum then Hill Air Force Base Public Affairs Office.
Physical access to cockpit areas is typically prohibited, as is climbing or walking on aircraft exteriors.
