The C-47 took flight in December 1941. It’s primary mission was to transport cargo, troops, and the wounded. It was the Pacific Campaign that made the C-47 a valuable asset for the range and carrying capacity of cargo.

F4 U Doug Kinsley PrintDoug Kinsley started drawing aircraft when he was a young boy with no formal training. Each of his drawings is thoroughly researched to insure historical accuracy with unbelievable detail often taking up to 500 hours to complete a piece. Each lithograph is printed on heavy acid free paper, signed by Doug and is custom matted.The prints are also shrink wrapped. Doug is retired from the Air Force Reserves.
